Task
Introduction of an identity management system (IDM) in a corporate division with the focus on automating the joiner/mover/leaver processes. In addition, data cleansing was to take place in the user area to also enable a reduction in licensing costs. The Identity Management was to be started "on the green field", i.e. new setup without history.
Solution
Even before the kickoff, all plans were changed because there was a restructuring of the entire group during this time, whereupon the IAM division now had to be integrated into the group construct. The time frame was very tight, leaving less than 3 months for the project. TIMETOACT acted as advisor in this project to support the customer in this task. TIMETOACT also supported the customer in the connection of further departmental applications to the now consolidated IAM of the group.
Result
The goals set for the integration were implemented on time. A significant reduction in license costs was achieved by consolidating and cleansing the data. The integration of existing processes into the Group IAM was also implemented in such a way that no interruptions occurred as a result of the restructuring.
Through the cooperation, a stable, trusting and long-term business relationship has been established, which will be continued in the area of connecting further systems. TIMETOACT's expertise is also valued and utilized by the customer in the area of Access Management and SingleSignOn.
