Telon is a software development environment for mainframe systems, originally developed by GTE and later by CA Technologies. It automates and simplifies the development process through predefined models and code generation. Telon was widely used in the 1980s and 1990s and was employed in industries such as banking and insurance. Nowadays, it's being replaced by more modern tools but remains an important part of mainframe development history.
