The new target Idea Management Release SVP 11 is now available

Idea management with modern user guidance in SAP Fiori 3 design

In May 2024, we released the new SVP 11 version of our on-premise software target Idea Management.

You will receive the following improvements and innovations—among many others—with this release:

Landing page

You can now integrate your own customer-defined cards on the landing page. 

Idea search

The search options have been greatly expanded:

Instead of the SAP PAO search, value help and external search engines can now also be used.

Users can now perform a quick search for a known idea by simply entering the idea number.

For greater precision, it is also possible to search for exact terms in the general search and link individual search terms with “AND” or “OR”.

Alternatively, you can search using classifications to find types of ideas. 

Idea detail

There is a new area in which similar ideas to the currently active idea are displayed. You can also jump directly to a similar idea there. 

Idea editing

The classic SAP search aids can now also be used when searching for people.

Image files that exceed the set maximum size are automatically compressed when uploaded. 

Key figures

With IDM 11.0, it is possible to sort key figures according to predefined criteria.

There is also a new key figure: “Ideas submitted and completed in year X”.

Document storage

It is no longer possible to print letters from individual persons, but to include them in a central document repository. This can be set individually for each recipient if desired.
