Challenge & Solution

The ever-expanding branch network required sehen!wutscher to adapt the usual work steps. A progressive and flexible work style, in which one can work together on tasks and collaborate regardless of location, was needed. After all, the headquarters in Graz is responsible for controlling and managing the more than 70 branches throughout Austria. CLOUDPILOTS integrated Google Workspace and MeisterTask into the company to make the planning and implementation of new branches as efficient as possible.

...since 1966. This has been the motto at sehen!wutscher since the founding of a small optician's specialty store in Eisenerz, Styria. Meanwhile, sehen!wutscher is Austria's largest traditional specialist optician and operates more than 70 branches throughout Austria. 

Under the management of master optician Fritz Wutscher, the family-owned company employs more than 450 people. Since 1966, sehen!wutscher has promised the best vision and the best appearance. With Fritz Wutscher jun. and Alexandra Wutscher, the third generation is already active in the management of the rapidly expanding family business.

In addition to the wide range of brand-name glasses, first-class expert advice on contact lenses and top advice on jewelry, sehen!wutscher offers optician competence and service orientation at the highest level. Thus, in 2020, sehen!wutscher was named Austria's service champion for the fifth time in a row in Austria's largest service ranking.

Wutscher and Google Workspace

The ever-expanding branch network required sehen!wutscher to adapt the usual work steps. A progressive and flexible work style, in which one can work together on tasks and collaborate regardless of location, was needed. After all, the headquarters in Graz is responsible for controlling and managing the more than 70 branches throughout Austria.

Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) turned out to be the ideal option for sehen!wutscher. The web-based applications not only make it easy to live collaboration company-wide, but also to maintain mission-critical internal communications with meet and chat. Important information or presentations can be shared with the entire branch network via a compact link. 

When deciding on Google Workspace, the collaborative and professional working style was the main factor. The simple and direct communication channels in Google Workspace make quick decisions easy to execute. Be it a short message in Google Chat or a quickly set up video conference via Google Meet.

MeisterTask for store opening

sehen!wutscher is a fast-growing company. The family business is not only growing in terms of branch locations, but it is in the nature of things that you also have to grow in terms of infrastructure. Meistertask is one of tools that help see!wutscher to plan and organize projects quickly, regardless of location and across teams.

Especially for the opening of new branches, sehen!wutscher needed a solution that could manage such large projects clearly. As a partner of CLOUDPILOTS, MeisterTask offered itself as the perfect solution for this. 

MeisterTask is a project management tool in which users organize tasks and projects in intuitive Kanban boards that can be perfectly customized and automate work steps. In addition, MeisterTask can be easily integrated into the familiar Google Workspace environment. This makes it easier to work and communicate with stakeholders.

The advantage of MeisterTask is that it brings a level of transparency. Within a wide variety of teams and companies, there is a full understanding of how far along a project is or whether there are tasks that still need to be completed.

MeisterTask has turned out to be a very good solution for a wide variety of projects such as store openings. For each new branch, a new board is created in MeisterTask and each task is formulated in a task. Because the tasks can be assigned to individual persons in MeisterTask, one always has an overview of how far the project has progressed and what the To Do`s are.
