The best of Google AI for every business
To address this, Google announced in mid-January that the best of Google AI is now included in Google Workspace Business and Enterprise plans, making it easier for businesses to innovate and succeed.
Here's what's being rolled out for Workspace Business customers now, and for Enterprise customers soon:
- AI support in Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Meet, Chat, Vids, and more: Work smarter and faster with AI embedded in your everyday tools. Gemini streamlines communication by summarizing information, drafting content, and finding insights in emails, chats, and files. It can also act as a creative partner, helping you create professional documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and videos from scratch. Gemini can even enhance your meetings by taking notes, improving audio and video quality, and providing summaries if you join late.
- Chat with Gemini Advanced, the next generation of Google AI: Boost learning, brainstorming, and planning with the Gemini app on your laptop or mobile device. Gemini Advanced can tackle complex projects including coding, research, and data analysis. You can also create Gems, your team of AI experts to help you with special tasks.
- Unleash the power of NotebookLM Plus: This revolutionary AI research assistant helps teams make sense of complex information. Upload your source materials to get instant insights and audio overviews, then create and share customized notebooks to accelerate learning and onboarding.
Simplified pricing with integrated AI
Google is simplifying all plans and pricing by including the latest generative AI features in Workspace Business and Enterprise plans. This brings the added value of Google AI to all customers. For example, a customer who previously paid $32 per user per month for Workspace Business Standard with a Gemini Business add-on now pays only $14 per user per month - just $2 more than they paid for Workspace without Gemini.
Learn more about the new prices and feature availability here. These prices are effective immediately for new customers. For existing customers, monthly subscription pricing will be updated starting March 17, 2025, or at the renewal date for annual/fixed-term plans, whichever is later. Very small businesses are not currently affected by price changes.
Protecting your interactions with AI

Your data is your data: Google will not use your data, prompts, or generated responses to train Gemini models outside of your domain without your consent. They do not sell your data or use it for targeted advertising.
You're in control: Google has developed Gemini with enterprise-grade controls to help you roll out Gemini while protecting sensitive data. Gemini only accesses relevant data that the user is authorized to access, and your existing Workspace data security and sovereignty controls are automatically applied.
You can ensure compliance: Gemini for Workspace and the Gemini app are among the first generative AI productivity solutions to receive a comprehensive set of safety, privacy, and security certifications, including SOC 1/2/3, ISO 27001/17/18, and ISO 42001. They can also help you meet HIPAA compliance.
