The approach and technical infrastructure if you want to automate handwriting recognition can vary from individual to individual. Here is an example of one approach:

Step 1: Requirements workshop

Together with you, we clarify document types and quantity structures, view sample documents, and define KPIs for recognition and requirements for further processing.

Step 2: Pilot operation

We provide an IT environment for a use case (e.g., recognition of handwritten SEPA direct debit mandates) and use training documents to adjust the configuration until performance criteria are met.

Step 3: Expansion of the operation

Other document types and larger quantity structures will be put into operation. If necessary, interfaces for peripheral systems will be developed.

Step 4: Alternative operating models

It is also possible to operate document recognition as a managed service, with a volume-based commercial model.
